Conventions of a thriller

I have chosen to carry out research for the conventions of a thriller because they will act as a foundation for the final product. In the presentation I cover the basic conventions including plot, setting, themes etc. as well as the technical conventions such as editing, sound, and camerawork, all of which I can apply to my film. In a later post I will use this research in order to look more closely at specific film and sound clips that I think will be relevant to my film, e.g certain camera movements, editing techniques etc.
